Nvidia, a very important chip-making company, and Foxconn, the company that makes iPhones, are going to work together to build “AI factories.” These factories will use Nvidia chips to power data centers, which are places that store a lot of information. These centers will be used for things like teaching self-driving cars, robots, and big language models. This news comes as the US is planning to limit how many advanced chips it sends to China, which could affect Nvidia. But, working with Foxconn will help Nvidia keep growing in the AI market.

The bosses of Nvidia and Foxconn, Jensen Huang and Young Liu, told everyone about their plan at a big tech event in Taipei. Huang said that the AI factories are a new kind of making things, where they make intelligence and the data centers are the factories. Foxconn, which is known for making Apple products, wants to do more than just make things for other companies. They see AI factories as a way to change from a company that just makes things to a company that solves problems.

Nvidia’s value in the stock market has gone up a lot, to over $1 trillion, because its advanced chips are used in AI. Working with Foxconn will make Nvidia even stronger in the market. Foxconn wants to do as well in the electric vehicle industry as it has done in making personal computers and smartphones. The two companies have already said they will work together to make platforms for self-driving cars, with Foxconn making the electronic parts based on Nvidia’s chips.
