Prada, a fancy clothing brand, is going to work with Axiom Space to make space suits for NASA’s Moon mission in 2025. Prada will use their knowledge of materials and making things from their fashion work and from being part of a big sailing race, the America’s Cup. The space suits won’t have fancy designs, because they need to keep the astronauts warm and give them the right amount of air and temperature.

Axiom Space has already shown a spacesuit for the next Artemis 3 mission. This suit is better for women and will be used after the Artemis 2 mission. Prada and Artemis want to use new technology and design to help explore the Moon more. The Artemis 2 mission is very important because it will have the first woman and the first black astronaut, Christina Kock and Victor Glover, going to the Moon.

Prada, Axiom Space, and NASA working together shows how fashion and space exploration are starting to mix. Prada might add some style to the space suits, but the most important thing is that the suits work well and keep the astronauts safe and comfortable. This work also shows how more people and companies are interested in space and want to explore the Moon and other places.
