Game Makers Worry About AI Taking Their Jobs

Developers fear AI's rise may threaten jobs and diminish the unique creativity in gaming.

Try this article at a different level?

People who make video games are worried about losing their jobs because of computers called AI. Jess, who makes art for games, is scared that AI might take over her job. Some bosses think AI can help make games faster and better. But many workers think AI might actually take away their jobs. They are not sure if AI will really help them be more creative.

AI can do some things quickly, but it might make mistakes that artists have to fix. Jess thinks this means artists won’t get to make new things, just fix AI’s work. Chris, who used to make games, is worried small game companies might have problems with AI copying other games. Some people, like Borislav, think AI can help make games more fun. But most game makers want to make sure people, not just computers, keep making games special.
