ย

Fay Manners and her friend Michelle Dvorak were climbing a mountain in the Himalayas. Their rope broke, and they lost their food and important gear. They sent a message for help, but rescuers had a hard time finding them. They had to deal with very cold weather and no food while waiting for help.

After two tough days, they tried to come down the mountain themselves. They found some water and kept going down. A group of French climbers found them and gave them supplies. Thanks to the French climbers, Fay and Michelle were safe and very thankful.

Fay talked about how rare and difficult their situation was. She wants to encourage more women to try climbing but reminds everyone to be safe and ready. After being rescued, Fay and Michelle wanted to try some local Indian food. They felt lucky to be safe and appreciated all the help they got.
