A woman in Australia has been accused of stealing a delivery van that was carrying 10,000 Krispy Kreme doughnuts. The van disappeared from a petrol station in a Sydney suburb in the early hours of November 29th. After a week, the police found the abandoned vehicle in a car park, along with thousands of spoiled doughnuts. The woman, who is 28 years old, was arrested on Thursday and now faces charges of vehicle theft and driving while disqualified. CCTV footage allegedly shows her lingering at the service station before getting into the unattended delivery van and driving away. It is unclear whether she was aware of the doughnuts inside the van, which included both Christmas-themed and classic varieties. Krispy Kreme reported the incident to the police and assured customers that they were working to replace the stolen doughnuts.
